Arthur Gunter doing "Baby Let's Play House" backed by "Blues After Hours" on Excello Records, released in November of 1954. This record was covered by Elvis Presley in 1955 on Sun Records. Gunter got a $6,500 royalty check for "Baby Let's Play House" and commented that he never got to shake Elvis' hand.エルビス・プレスリーもカバーしてるそう。
Taken from Stash Records 1977 compilation "Weed: A Rare Batch" (ST-107)またすんげー別嬪さんを見つけてきました。
Lucille Bogan performs "Pot Hound Blues" with Tampa Red on guitar and Cow Cow Davenport on piano. This was recorded in October of 1928 or May of 1929 - there is some ambiguity on the liner notes of the record.
Hope you enjoy!

"Too Young To Have Fun" from the album, "File Under Rock"これもわたし的には相当毛色の変わったBlues。

Junior Watson - guitar, vocals
Bill Stuve - acoustic bass, vocals
Bill Swartz - drums, percussion
This is just brilliant. If you like piano blues, if you wish to know about William Shakespeare's blues legacy, if you are curious to know what does it mean to 'feel a feeling of the feeling that you feel before you had the feel of a feeling...", if you also wish to learn a bit more about love, misery, tears and sloppy juicy kisses, well... this number is for you! :-)well... this number is for you! :-)
This track is from Peter Green's "The Robert Johnson Songbook" album released in 1998. Peter sings, plays guitar and harp. He is backed by Nigel Watson (guitar), Neil Murray (bass) and Paul Rodgers (vocal). Note also 'Street Angels' backup singers, giving to the blues the fine gospel feel.・・・
The slideshow is very simple: I just used one photo and two different crops of it to create the visual background. I hope it doesn't alter the subtle and fine blues feeling of this outstanding track.
