Very nice electric guitar blues duet from Eric Clapton (solo) and Jimmy page (rhythm) from album Blues Anytime Vol.3 (An anthology of British Blues), Immediate records 1965

"Baby, Please Don't Go" is a blues song first recorded by Big Joe Williams in 1935. It is related to a group of early 20th century blues and work songs that include "Alabama Bound", "Another Man Done Gone", and "Don't Leave Me Here", and "Turn Your Lamp Down Low".
Here is the great version of that song by Sam "Lightnin' Hopkins.

Bruce Springsteen titled the song after the main character from John Steinbeck's 1939 novel The Grapes of Wrath. He hoped the song would personify or represent the voices of the hopeless, disenfranchised, and invisible as the book was said to do in the 1930s.

Mance Lipscomb recorded song several times and my version is a mix of these.
He called it "So Different Blues" because.....it's different from what he normally does.
Indeed there are a few surprising chord changes that I haven't encountered anywhere else.
