Originally, the Allman Joy,members Duane and Gregg Allman from Florida joined with members of 'Men-its' from Alabama . They were brought out to L.A. took thename the Hour Glass ....They recorded two LP's both did not make the charts.......but It's great to hear the starting years of the Allman Brothers
Great Blues and Gospel from the U.K. Some of the best Sister Rosetta ever captured on video. She plays some of my all time favorite guitar. Everybody is great in this show. Please, does anybody have this in better shape? I also hear that there is another segment with Rev. Gary Davis. I sure would like to see that! If you ask me, this is as pretty close to heaven as it gets for Blues and Gospel fans.ゴスペルとブルーズの絡み??

Guitarist Freddie King rode to fame in the early '60s with a spate of catchy instrumentals which became instant bandstand fodder for fellow bluesmen and white rock bands alike. Employing a more down-home (thumb and finger picks) approach to the B.B. King single-string style of playing, King enjoyed success on a variety of different record labels. Furthermore, he was one of the first bluesmen to employ a racially integrated group on-stage behind him. Influenced by Eddie Taylor, Jimmy Rogers, and Robert Jr. Lockwood, King went on to influence the likes of Eric Clapton, Mick Taylor, Stevie Ray Vaughan, and Lonnie Mack, among many others.Freddie Kingを代表する曲ですねぇ。
