私は Charlie Patton の Down The Dirt Road Blues はどう弾かれていたか？ を2年近く研究してきました。
楽譜やDVDではレギュラーチューニングですので皆さんレギュラーチューニングで演奏されてきたと思いますが、答えはこのビデオです。
戦前ブルース好きの方たちに楽しんでいただきたいので

チャーリー・パットンは 変幻自在のチューニングを使いこなす超一流のギタープレーヤーでした。スゴい皆さんです。
当研究所で 発表待ちとなっている冊子の中でも 独特なチューニングについて詳細に書かれています。
初録音1929年6月 そう この録音は Masked Tuning を使い恐ろしいほどのグルーブを出したスライド奏法が炸裂している。
今回は、同日の録音で使用した別のチューニングについて世界初の発表となります。
彼らが暮らしたドッケリー農場（Dockery Farms) で主流であったであろうチューニングの発表です。
Dockery Farm Tuning と命名します。
