　中島紅音07年9月に1stアルバム『Jazz portraits』でデビュー。「気軽に聴けるジャズ」をコンセプトに、これまでに４枚のアルバムをリリース。スタンダードナンバーを現代風にアレンジ、レパートリー­­とする。ハスキーなのにまろやかで伸びのある声が魅力。?デビューの翌年、広島LIVE caf? Jive、大阪ROYAL HORSE、東京ブルースアレイでDIMENSIONの小野塚晃氏(Pf)と共演。その他、水野正敏氏(Ba)、納浩一氏(Ba)、小池修氏(Sax)、鶴谷智生氏(Dr­­)、などとも共演を果たすなど精力的に活動しており、現在、関西を中心に定期的にライブ活動を行っている。ライブ活動をする一方で、クッキングスクールの講師としても活­­躍する一面を持つ。
